I found this adorable desk secretary on one of my thrifting adventures! I had to have it, even though I wasn’t too sure what to do with it at the time.
I have an over abundance of gemstones and crystals and it dawned on me that this would be the perfect place to keep them!
I had some gloss grey spray paint leftover from some project and I went to painting.
I removed the hardware from the drawers. I was already busy painting dresser drawers a gloss white with a paint roller so I added these drawers to the painting queue!
This was not that easy to paint only because the weather turned cold and my garage isn’t heated. So this was a verrrrrrry slow painting project.
While the last coat of paint was still wet I grabbed a palm full of silver glitter and threw it at the secretary (very precise technique lol)
So sparkly!
I even lined the drawers with purple felt to keep my crystals from sliding around.
