Good things my mom keeps gifting me clothes! I haven’t needed to go thrifting since the stores opened back up. Here is the most adorable polka dot summer dress!

This dress came with a keyhole back already but I decided to take it up a notch and lengthen the existing keyhole.
I seam ripped the seam that started at the bottom of the key hole. Then I folded back the side seams and stitched it into place.
Next, I took each side in which not only made it well fitted but also raised the waistline.
Not done yet!
I wanted to mimic the back keyhole onto the front of the dress. I snipped a hole in the front and stitched down the sides.

Hi there! Welcome to my little blog! My name is Marisa, phonetically that’s Marie-sa! My goal is to change the way you look at outdated clothes by making you think outside the stitch!
I am a dental hygienist by trade but that leaves me longing to show my creative side and having something more fashionable to wear than scrubs!
I have always been interested in fashion and for years I have been dabbling in creating my own clothes. Now is the time to seriously get into refashioning and encourage you to do the same!
I hope this little blog of mine inspires you not to pass up those oversized unsightly pieces of clothing but to transform them into something beautiful!
Happy Refashioning!
