A Pop of Pink Refash

I hope everyone’s still staying safe, healthy and busy! One of the first tasks I did while staying home and staying safe was cleaning out my closet. Well, my mom had the same idea which meant all her old clothes came over to me (So much for that extra space in my closet). I was overjoyed at getting my mom’s old clothes. She is where I get my fantastic fashion sense!!!

If you know my mom, you know that her wardrobe contains A LOT of B&W stripes. She LOVES that pattern! So, this B&W striped tank and bright pink lace cami are from her! She loves the stipes and I love pink.

I took in the sides. Pinned and stitched!

I cut out the front of the lace cami.

I cut a slit down the middle of the shirt front then pinned the pink lace. Stitched that in place.

I tried the shirt on only to find it still gapped underneath the armpit. I took it in another tid bit.

Much better! Now for enjoying some nice sunshine!
