Hello Readers!
For Thanksgiving I had refashioned an apron I had bought at the $1 store. Now for Christmas I did the same thing! I was happy to find that these $1 store aprons came in a few different colors- red (for Christmas) being one of them!
This apron needs some help!
I picked out this embroidery pattern from embroidery designs for free!
I set up my tear away stabilizer and apron in my 4×4 embroidery hoop.
Such a cute little Christmas tree!
The one down side of these $1 store aprons is the length of the neck strings- too long!
I decided to replace the existing strings with Christmas plaid ribbon. I sewed one end to the apron and then made a loop at the other end so I could attach the neck string to a button on the apron.
I also sewed the Christmas ribbon to the side apron strings.
Lastly, I sewed on this beautiful gold button to attach the neck string to.
I put my new Christmas apron to good use! Making Christmas cookies!
Merry Christmas!!!
Happy Refashioning!!!
