Halloween Throwback Thursday

I hope everyone is getting into the Halloween spirit!!! If not, maybe this will help!

The year before I started my blog I made my husband’s Halloween costume. We had decided on being Kermit and Miss Piggy!

Now please excuse me for I do not have any before or during photos.

I was lucky enough to have the perfect vintage dress for my Miss Piggy costume. So the only items I really needed at the time were the pig parts and blonde wig.

On the other hand for Kermit’s costume, that required more effort.

At the time it was SUPER hard to find any clothing in green. I found a shirt at WalMart, a pair of green scrubs, green fuzzy socks and hat from the $1 store.

I drew on Kermit’s famous pupils on 2 PingPong balls and hot glued them onto the green hat.

I cut out triangles of green felt and hot glued them onto the collar, sleeve cuffs and socks.

I really wish I had a better picture of the front of the costumes, but I hope this was a teeny bit inspirational!
