Dress to Tunic Top Refashion

This refashion is the second part of my last post T-Shirt Refash!

Since I used the bottom part of this dress to add length to my t-shirt dress I had the whole top part left over!

dscn1029I began my sinching up the straps.

dscn1025Made a new hem!

dscn1039Added some floral lace to the pockets. Aren’t the buttons adorable!?

dscn1059And there you have it! A nice new tunic top! I just love the polk-a-dot pattern!

Happy Refashioning!!!

  1. Hi,
Your tunic looks smashing. Very versatile. I made a similar one recently. The dress was not so fetching, so cut it up, took it in on the sides and reduced the flare a bit and chopped off 6″ from bottom. It turned out great.
sometimes it helps to cut up…
