Tassels seem to be so popular right now!
I have had a few requests for a tassel tutorial since I featured them in my tunic refashion for Refashion Runway this season.
Whelp, here it goes!
Start with a packet of embroidery floss.
Pull a sting out from one end and cut it off and in half.
Take one of the cut pieces and put it through one of the ends of the embroidery floss bundle. Tie the ends together.
Tie the second cut piece around the top of the bundle.

Cut the bundle in half.
Ta Da! A tassel ready for anything! Add this to a shirt, make a keychain, a book mark or whatever you can think of!
Happy Refashioning!!!

Hi there! Welcome to my little blog! My name is Marisa, phonetically that’s Marie-sa! My goal is to change the way you look at outdated clothes by making you think outside the stitch!
I am a dental hygienist by trade but that leaves me longing to show my creative side and having something more fashionable to wear than scrubs!
I have always been interested in fashion and for years I have been dabbling in creating my own clothes. Now is the time to seriously get into refashioning and encourage you to do the same!
I hope this little blog of mine inspires you not to pass up those oversized unsightly pieces of clothing but to transform them into something beautiful!
Happy Refashioning!
