A Birthday Refash

Last Saturday was my Birthday! The husband and our friends were taking me out for dinner and drinks to celebrate!

Since it was my Birthday I figured what better way to celebrate then wearing my favorite color: PINK!

Ohh la la!

DSCN0186The original buttons on my dress were gold. Now, don’t get me wrong I like gold, but since this rehash is all about pink I decided to change the buttons…

DSCN0191I switched over to these pink buttons. Like how subtle the pink buttons on the pink fabric are!

DSCN0197Next, it was time to get rid of those ridiculous shoulder pads!

DSCN0204I shortened the sleeves by 1 1/2 inches.

DSCN0207I went to shorten the hem length and I noticed this: someone had already done that. (I can’t even imagine how long the original length was).

DSCN0208Shortened the hem  by 2 inches.

DSCN0213Time to celebrate! They even decorated the house for me! What a surprise!

 The husband bought me a embroidery/sewing machine! Stay tuned for some more awesomeness in refashioning!!!
